As we launch Florida as one of the focus states of the #FueraTrump campaign, we asked Carlos Naranjo, a long-time organizer in the South of Florida, to give us an introduction to the politics of the local state. We started with a conversation on the Florida Governor, who has modeled his response to the COVID-19 epidemic after Trump, leading the state into a scenario of high infection rates and little resources for our communities. We also talk about other local elections that New Florida Majority is paying attention to this November.
